Develop and improve manufacturing processes from concept through commissioning and qualification, ensuring they align with engineering plans, budgets, and customer-focused performance. Own the management of process technical requirements and provide engineering support across risk management and tendering. Implement Safe System of Work, coordinate development to generate process and materials data, and deliver clear process status and KPI updates to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and manage process technical requirements and provide engineering expertise into the risk management process.
•Provide engineering support to the tendering process, including technical management inputs.
•Implement Safe System of Work in line with company and statutory requirements.
•Coordinate commissioning and qualification, including specifying and qualifying new equipment with suppliers.
•Develop manufacturing processes aligned to engineering plans and budgets, and provide clear verbal and written updates on process status and KPIs.

Key Requirements

•Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
•Proven technical and manufacturing foundation, with the ability to be proactive, resilient, and effective under pressure.
•Ability to prioritise changing workloads while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
•Demonstrated capability developing manufacturing processes, including system integration.
•Knowledge of industry controls and processes such as Lean, Control Plans, and PFMEAs.
