Job Summary

Design and lead an enterprise strategy to build long-term talent pipelines through partnerships with colleges, universities, and technical schools. You’ll coordinate campus recruiting with Talent Acquisition, strengthen relationships with academic leaders and career services, and create early-career pathways to develop future sales, F&I, and operations leaders. Track key success metrics, optimize partnership ROI, and deliver insights to executive leadership while traveling to key campuses and dealership locations.

•Develop a national educational partnership strategy targeting community colleges, universities, HBCUs, and technical trade programs.
•Build relationships with academic leadership, career services, and faculty to embed Sonic into curriculum and career pathways.
•Partner with Talent Acquisition to create campus recruiting strategies and equip teams with tools and messaging to attract and convert early-career talent.
•Coordinate with brand and dealership leadership for campus events and support recruiting efforts for internships and leadership development programs.
•Define and track success metrics (pipeline volume, conversion, retention, time-to-productivity) and optimize partnership ROI; share insights with executive leadership.

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce strategy, campus recruiting, or external partnerships.
•Strong business acumen translating talent strategy into operational impact.
•Experience influencing senior leaders in a multi-location or decentralized environment.
•Ability to travel (40–50%) to campuses and dealership locations.
•Preferred: experience in automotive retail operations, hospitality, or multi-unit service environments.
