Job Summary

Lead growth of GEICO’s commercial trucking agency relationships across your assigned PA/KY/WV territory. Manage 120–150 truck and commercial specialist accounts, prospect and onboard new agencies, and coach agents through in-person, virtual, phone, and email training. Analyze territory performance to execute strategic plans, deliver effective sales calls using commercial insurance knowledge, and report annual and semi-annual sales plans and competitive intelligence to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect, interview, and help approve new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
•Manage agents in the designated territory using in-person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver trainings, and manage performance.
•Analyze the territory to plan where to spend time and resources to achieve growth and profitability goals.
•Use commercial insurance knowledge, competitive placement, industry trends, sales tools, and agency technology to design and deliver effective sales calls.
•Prepare pre-call strategies, document sales calls and agency strategy, and work with product management to identify opportunities and deliver competitive intelligence.

Travel: High travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 104,550 - 161,950 annually

Key Requirements

•Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts, and demonstrate strong organization and priority-setting skills.
•Must be able to multi-task and learn/apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
•Prior experience driving sales results.
•Prior experience working with different lines of insurance is a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health).
•Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance and be able to perform essential functions (seeing, hearing, typing, speaking).
