Build and maintain enterprise REST APIs and production infrastructure supporting high performance, scale, and reliability in payments and credit card systems. Collaborate with architects and engineers to design API layers, assist with system and data design (including resilient logging and schema planning), and deliver software through agile sprints. Use Java, Spring Boot, DevOps-driven CI/CD, containers, and cloud-enabled services to integrate, test, and evolve integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop modern RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot and integrate work into continuous delivery and continuous integration pipelines.
•Assist with system design and business analysis, including server layout, availability, disaster recovery planning, and production deployments.
•Assist with software and data design, including database schema, storage considerations, data mapping, and resilient API/business logic, logging, and supportability.
•Implement and deliver enterprise services and APIs under architectural guidance, including unit testing and automated testing as part of routine development.
•Collaborate in agile sprints to maintain and evolve integration assets and processes for maturing Huntington’s integration platforms and operations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
•1-3+ years of related software development experience creating and maintaining application interfaces between data sources and applications.
•1+ years of DevOps experience.
•1-3 years of strong Java development experience with Spring Framework, Eclipse, Maven, and Gradle.
•1-3 years of experience developing application interfaces (APIs) with Java or similar object-oriented languages.
