Key Responsibilities

  • •Support buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence, assessing quality of earnings, cash flows, working capital, and transaction risks — and helping to shape the commercial story behind the numbers.
  • •Use data-driven techniques to rapidly identify and present drivers of value, test the deal hypothesis, and elevate the impact of diligence work.
  • •Help clients prepare for sale or IPO by interrogating their data landscape, KPIs, and business plan reporting — and identifying where the numbers need to work harder.
  • •Build and automate clear, impactful management reporting tools — dashboards and board-level outputs that give clients real commercial visibility.
  • •Use LLMs, forecasting, scenario modelling, and predictive analytics to solve commercial problems — not as an experiment, but as standard practice.

Key Requirements

  • •ACA, CIMA, or equivalent finance/accounting qualification.
  • •Experience in a consulting or advisory role — Big Four or boutique — with a track record of delivering in deals or transaction environments.
  • •Hands-on exposure to Financial Due Diligence, transaction services, or M&A.
  • •Strong analytical capability — comfortable working with large, complex datasets, financial models, and BI/analytics tools.
  • •Genuine curiosity about AI and how it applies in deals contexts; able to build that muscle and communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
