Job Summary

Lead the AIT thermal/ECLSS team for Nyx Earth, planning and executing thermal and ECLSS integration and testing from sub-system test campaigns through system/capsule thermal EVT. Own thermal/ECLSS activities including test bench setup, procedures, flight hardware interface definition, and test execution in coordination with internal/external facilities. Deliver comprehensive reports, support model correlation/validation, ensure compliance with spaceflight quality and safety standards, and manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and plan thermal EVT campaigns at system/capsule level and thermal/ECLSS activities at sub-system level.
•Define and manage flight hardware interfaces during integration and support preparation of engineering drawings for test bench components.
•Design 3D test setups, build test setups, procure test parts, and write/execute test procedures.
•Plan, define, prepare, execute, and oversee thermal/ECLSS tests with internal and external test facilities; generate comprehensive test reports and support model correlation/validation.
•Collaborate with design office and systems engineering to meet flight qualification standards, improve processes using lessons learned, and ensure compliance with spaceflight quality and safety protocols.

Key Requirements

•MSc degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Physics, or a related field.
•Over 5 years of relevant experience in testing or integration in the aerospace sector.
•Strong understanding of spacecraft thermal control systems and ECLSS systems, including test methodologies.
•Hands-on experience with TVAC chambers, thermal cycling equipment, sensor systems, and test bench setup (including pipe bending).
•Experience with CAD software (preferably Siemens NX) and managing a small team.
