Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver assigned R&D projects, ensuring technical work is completed to agreed timings and standards and risks are escalated to the line manager.
  • •Coordinate factory/co-packer line trials, R&D qualification testing, and validation prior to product launch.
  • •Prepare lab samples, organise product stability studies, evaluate new raw materials, and manage material supply to keep development activities on schedule.
  • •Manage release of samples for consumer and clinical tests; keep accurate records and communicate results.
  • •Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and health, safety, and environmental requirements, preparing product specifications and technical reports throughout development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical sciences, Cosmetic formulation).
  • •2–5 years of product development experience in FMCG or a chemical environment; medical device experience is an advantage.
  • •Strong expertise in formulation and/or process development and the ability to solve technical challenges.
  • •Experience coordinating lab work such as product stability studies, evaluation of raw materials, and documentation of results.
  • •Ability to work in large international, complex matrix organizations while managing projects and timelines effectively.
