Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design and specification of the Data Handling subsystem units (OBC, RTU, MMU) and their interfaces
  • •Support electrical and communication interface definitions among DH units and with system avionics
  • •Assist in selecting and validating DH subsystem buses and protocols (MIL-1553, CAN, SpaceWire, TTEthernet, RS232/422/485, SPI, I2C)
  • •Participate in procurement activities for DH subsystems and units with subcontractors
  • •Support DH subsystem integration and test (AIT) with system avionics and develop DH Test Benches for PIL/HIL/Closed Loop tests

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering with focus on Embedded Systems or Computer Science
  • •At least 2 years of professional experience in DHS design or testing at subsystem or unit level
  • •Knowledge of avionics architecture for trade-offs and design solutions
  • •Experience with multicore space-qualified microprocessors (LEON, PPC, etc.) and development environments (GRMON, UBOOT, ECLIPSE)
  • •Knowledge of C, C++, Python (and basic assembler), RTOS (RTEMS, VXWORKS) is appreciated
