Architect and deliver large-scale, cloud-native data solutions on Azure and Snowflake for Fortune 500 clients. Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, and production-grade Python/PySpark and SQL. Design Snowflake warehousing and performance, implement data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks, and drive DevOps CI/CD for resilient analytics, DataMart/Data Lake, and ML/AI-ready data.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake for large-scale ingestion and transformation.
•Develop ETL/ELT workflows for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from on-premises systems, APIs, flat files, RDBMS, and streaming sources.
•Write production-grade Python (PySpark) and SQL for data transformations, workflow orchestration, and automation.
•Architect Snowflake solutions including schema design, Virtual Warehouse configuration, query performance tuning, and cost-efficient storage/retrieval.
•Implement data quality, governance, lineage tracking, and metadata management across multiple environments, plus DevOps CI/CD deployment practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years as a Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks) and Snowflake.
•Hands-on Azure Data Engineering experience in the Insurance domain.
•Strong proficiency in SQL (stored procedures, functions, views) and Python/PySpark for data transformations and orchestration.
•Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory for multi-step workflows.
•Comprehensive Snowflake expertise (schema design, role-based security, performance tuning, and pipeline features).
