Build and evolve enterprise REST APIs and the production infrastructure that powers reliable, scalable performance. Work within an agile team to design server layouts, database schemas, resilient data access, and automated testing, then deliver through CI/CD and continuous integration pipelines. Help transition services to Kafka and from VM-based environments to cloud container run environments, collaborating with architects, engineers, vendors, and business partners to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop modern RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, integrating API layers into continuous delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
•Assist with system design and business analysis including server layout, availability, disaster recovery planning, and production deployments.
•Design software and data systems including database schemas, data mapping, storage efficiency, resilience, logging, and supportability.
•Support software delivery by creating server architecture, highly available and recoverable data resources, and configuring highly performant data sources.
•Collaborate in agile sprints to implement enterprise APIs/services, transition to Kafka, and evolve environments from VMs to cloud container run environments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field.
•3+ years of software development experience creating and maintaining application interfaces with an emphasis on API development.
•1+ years of experience with DevOps.
•Experience developing application interfaces (APIs) with Java or similar object-oriented languages.
•Experience with Spring Framework and building RESTful/web interfaces (e.g., REST, JSON, or SOAP).
