Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop tooling that helps engineering teams consume datacenter compute like a managed cloud service.
  • •Build services to provision, configure, and lifecycle-manage virtual machines on bare metal using virtualization technologies.
  • •Provide the compute backbone for pipeline runs and end-to-end automated testing at scale.
  • •Expose datacenter capacity as a single elastic fabric that internal workloads can schedule against on demand.
  • •Automate host lifecycle as code (bring-up, hypervisor configuration, networking, storage, and decommissioning) and improve virtualization reliability, observability, performance, and security.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in a software engineering role using one or more mainstream languages (.NET/C# preferred; Java, Go, C, C++, Python, or Rust).
  • •Linux experience, comfortable operating and scripting on Linux.
  • •Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, concurrency, and data structures/algorithms.
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP).
  • •Experience with virtualization (QEMU/KVM, libvirt, VMware, Hyper-V, or Xen equivalents).
