Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor operation parameters locally and coordinate with the CCR Operator for activities impacting plant operation.
  • •Ensure safe startup and shutdown of the plant per Standard Operating Procedures and follow shift instructions.
  • •Enter periodic readings on log sheets and summarize shift events; inspect areas and auxiliaries to keep parameters within limits and report abnormalities.
  • •Perform equipment changeover per schedules and raise work requests/defect notes for faulty equipment.
  • •Adhere to HSE, security, and environmental procedures, including monitoring environmental regulatory parameters and reporting deviations for corrective action.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical Diploma in Engineering.
  • •1–3 years’ experience in field operations in the power or water desalination units.
  • •Extensive experience as a local operator in conventional/combined cycle or water desalination plants (RO, MSF, MED) and renewable energy plants (solar, wind).
  • •Working knowledge of plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, and emergency operating procedures.
  • •Awareness of HSE and quality standards, including knowledge of firefighting equipment and waste identification, classification, and disposal.
