Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement OpenBMC Firmware for GPU Server platforms with focus on Arm architecture; develop and review code and design documents.
  • •Bring up BMC firmware, analyze performance, and implement manageability features for NVIDIA server platforms.
  • •Develop and review test plans, ensure design/testability alignment with product requirements, and collaborate across teams.
  • •Design solutions for errors and configurations across CPU, GPU, DIMM, SSDs, NICs, BMC, FPGA/CPLD for enterprise readiness.
  • •Develop high-performance, active monitoring BMC solutions using DMTF standards (MCTP, Redfish, SPDM, PLDM) and instrument code with unit tests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience; 8+ years of experience.
  • •Domain expertise in BMC Firmware development on X86 or ARM platforms including BMC-BIOS communication, thermal/power management, firmware update, device monitoring, and firmware security.
  • •Hands-on board bring-up with experience in I2C/I3C, SPI, PCIe, SMBus, Mail-box, and device trees for U-Boot and Linux kernel.
  • •OOB or In-band System Management experience with IPMI, KCS, DMTF Standards (PLDM, MCTP, Redfish) and PMBus/NVMe, etc.
  • •Strong programming and scripting skills in C/C++, Bash, Python, Go; solid Linux knowledge and build/deploy of Linux images.
