Key Responsibilities

•Lead competitive intelligence for large bank peers, including financial performance, KPIs, strategy changes, pricing/portfolio dynamics, credit trends, capital/liquidity actions, and regulatory developments.
•Develop peer dashboards, scorecards, and quarterly competitor insights to inform leadership on market positioning.
•Build and enhance a financial model and perform scenario analyses (rate paths, deposit pricing/betas, loan growth, credit normalization, hedging, CECL impacts, capital actions).
•Support the earnings process by contributing to press releases, slides, Q&A materials, talking points, and internal briefings with accuracy and clarity across disclosures.
•Manage, coach, and develop a Senior Associate; ensure high-quality processes, documentation, and analytical rigor across work products.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
•8+ years of relevant experience including equity research, investment banking, corporate finance/FP&A/strategy, Treasury/ALM, and/or Investor Relations.
•Demonstrated mastery of financial modeling for bank financials, including NII/NIM, deposit betas, credit/CECL, capital ratios, liquidity, and AOCI.
•Strong analytical and storytelling skills to translate complex drivers into clear, concise insights.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and analytical tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, and Visible Alpha; able to manage confidential information under tight deadlines.
