Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and execute mid- and long-term sustainability plans for data centre locations.
  • •Improve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) by partnering with engineers to cut energy use in cooling and power systems.
  • •Lead clean energy procurement efforts, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and renewable energy certificates.
  • •Manage Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon accounting and develop water and circular-economy initiatives to reduce resource drains and waste.
  • •Maintain and update sustainability certifications and produce annual disclosures aligned to GRI, CDP, SASB, and ISSB frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related area.
  • •8 to 10+ years working directly in sustainability or energy systems management.
  • •Strong background working inside data centres, critical infrastructure, or large-scale cloud operations.
  • •Solid understanding of data centre critical layouts, power backup systems, industrial chillers, and regional renewable energy markets.
  • •Experience building data-driven energy models and emissions calculations using advanced Excel or ESG software.
