Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and continuously improve demand and supply plans for the Starship design group.
  • •Maintain MRP bill of materials accuracy, inventory targets, and product master data to support production at rate.
  • •Construct and execute supply plans to mitigate risk, execute MRP planning messages, and issue purchase orders for production-ready requirements.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality to manage change cut, reduce material obsolescence, and eliminate or reduce quality issues.
  • •Develop supply chain strategies (e.g., long-term purchases, design for manufacturing), manage inventory to prevent stock outs, monitor costs, analyze supply chain data, and update management on critical supply issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •2+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, production, project management, or engineering.
  • •Technical knowledge in a commodity (e.g., machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending and assembly, weldment assembly, soft goods).
  • •Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
  • •Experience navigating multitier bill of materials and work orders.
