Key Responsibilities

  • •Triage incoming behavioral health and substance use crisis calls and deploy to community settings to manage consumers in crisis.
  • •Assess symptom acuity, risk factors, and psychiatric presentation; document DSM-based diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations (including ICD codes).
  • •Develop crisis evaluations and safety plans, de-escalate and stabilize individuals, and determine appropriate level-of-care decisions for Medicaid/indigent consumers.
  • •Screen callers and arrange emergency psychiatric hospitalization or alternatives; transport consumers when necessary and coordinate admissions/referrals with relevant stakeholders.
  • •Maintain compliant case records, deliver community education, partner with law enforcement ride-alongs, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 33.46 - 41.83 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree with current Michigan licensure (LBSW) for Pay Grade 8.
  • •Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with State of Michigan licensure (LMSW/LP/LPC/LMFT) for Pay Grade 10.
  • •2 years with MI/co-occurring populations preferred; 1 year with SED children or adults/children with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and acceptable driving record.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
