Develop and apply advanced optical, X-ray, and electrical thin-film metrology techniques to qualify semiconductor process tools and support product/process development. Partner with process teams and key vendors to understand new techniques and influence metrology roadmaps, define technical requirements, and lead complex technical reviews. Provide data analysis, implement best practices, and create new methodologies to optimize system performance while supporting teams worldwide with limited travel.

•Develop applications using optical film metrology techniques to qualify semiconductor process tools
•Engage with key vendors to understand latest metrology techniques and influence future solution roadmaps
•Technically lead complex metrology application activities and run internal and customer technical review meetings
•Define customer technical requirements through deep analysis of the product roadmap
•Define new methodologies to optimize system performance for specific applications and support broader technology development projects

Salary: USD 147,000 - 202,500 annually

Key Requirements

•MS equivalent or higher in engineering or science with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
•Demonstrated expertise in two or more metrology application areas including optical thin film metrology, X-ray based metrology, electrical film metrology, optical defect inspection, contamination analysis, nanomechanical techniques, or photoacoustic techniques
•Several years of work experience on metrology applications with multiple techniques
•Experience working primarily with process teams to develop metrology applications supporting product and process development
•Willingness to learn application of new metrology techniques
