Key Responsibilities

•Serve as primary point of contact for Vehicle Recommender, owning relationships with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering partners.
•Drive adoption by scoping new use cases and ensuring successful implementation of recommendations.
•Own the product roadmap for Vehicle Recommender in partnership with engineering and DS leadership, prioritizing enhancements and new capabilities.
•Develop technical expertise in the recommender system, including how embedding models work, how recommendations are generated and served, and how performance is measured.
•Design, execute, and interpret experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, pre/post analyses) and partner on feature development, validation, and monitoring.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,400 - 192,600 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in a data science role, preferably in e-commerce/marketplace or a data-rich environment.
•Strong Python development experience for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
•Solid statistics foundation, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and experimental design.
•Experience with large datasets using tools like Spark and Databricks (or similar).
•Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s/Ph.D. preferred.
