Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure day-to-day operational health of cloud infrastructure (Private Cloud on VMware and Public Cloud on GCP)
  • •Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across OS, containers, network, middleware, and storage; act as Level 2 support for incidents and service requests
  • •Monitor system health, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis using Google Cloud monitoring and Prometheus/Grafana; set and fine-tune alerts
  • •Run routine maintenance (patching, upgrades, backups) and support change planning, testing, and execution; assist with capacity planning and performance optimization
  • •Standardize cloud infrastructure components, maintain operational documentation, enforce security policies, and partner with DevOps/SRE on reliability improvements and infrastructure as code

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years in cloud infrastructure or system administration roles
  • •Hands-on experience with VMware Private Cloud and/or GCP public cloud (GCP preferred)
  • •Strong fundamentals in networking, backup, OS, and storage
  • •Familiarity with monitoring/logging/alerting and ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem)
  • •Scripting and automation experience (Shell or PowerShell) plus container tooling experience (Helm, Ansible roles, Kubernetes)
