Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the focal point for Product Safety reporting, risk management, occurrence investigations, safety performance monitoring, and safety promotion.
  • •Ensure product flow complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, supporting delivery of the Quality Assurance strategy.
  • •Lead and continuously improve the Quality and Safety Management Systems, including managing and maintaining the Safety Management System (SMS) under CAA Part 21G.
  • •Facilitate Safety Review Boards (SRB) and Safety Action Groups (SAG), and produce safety performance reports for senior leadership.
  • •Manage safety databases and reporting tools with trend analysis, recommend safety improvement initiatives, and support regulatory and customer audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferably a degree and strong knowledge of industry and customer quality registration and certification processes (e.g., ISO9001, CAA Part 21G, AS9100).
  • •Experience managing and promoting aviation occurrence reporting systems.
  • •Ability to lead a small team of Quality personnel using performance processes such as Pay & Progression.
  • •Thorough understanding of problem-solving methods including Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and related statistical tools.
  • •Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process variation reduction tools (e.g., pFMEA, CTQ characteristics, control plans) and auditing techniques for regulatory and quality compliance.
