Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement embedded real-time software solutions that meet functional safety and cybersecurity requirements.
  • •Contribute to system architecture and software design, including requirements definition and allocation to software components and subsystems.
  • •Develop embedded software in C/C++ for Linux platforms, including debugging, optimization, code reviews, and secure development compliance.
  • •Build and maintain embedded Linux environments (device drivers, device trees, boot loaders, Yocto-based distributions) and implement data protection and cybersecurity features.
  • •Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing; investigate defects and hardware-software integration issues; prototype on custom hardware and support board bring-up.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience developing embedded software on Linux-based platforms.
  • •Advanced programming skills in C, C++, and shell scripting, with secure coding and vulnerability management practices.
  • •Experience with embedded Linux development, including device drivers, device tree configuration, and Yocto build systems.
  • •Knowledge of boot loaders (preferably U-Boot) and Linux kernel concepts, plus ARM or PowerPC (or similar) processor architectures.
  • •Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-232/RS-485, Modbus) and unit/integration testing with debugging tools (e.g., GDB, JTAG, J-Link).
