Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care, educating patients and families about health conditions while offering advice and emotional support.
  • •Assess and reassess patients, collect pertinent data, interpret assessment information, and identify nursing diagnoses and care priorities.
  • •Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team, collaborating with patients and bystanders.
  • •Record vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, and maintain technical and clinical nursing skills.
  • •Deliver specialized care including medications, IV fluids/blood products, wound care, life support, respiratory support (including mechanical ventilation), catheters/tubes/feeding, haemodialysis, procedures support, and palliative/end-of-life care.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority and meet required qualifications and experience.
  • •Manage your own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
