Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts using real-time information from equipment data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while performing maintenance and repairs on rental and customer-owned equipment and tools.
  • •Diagnose root causes and determine corrective actions for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel system issues using independent judgment.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) on a daily basis.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites for repairs when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with knowledge of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and tools, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma required (trade school certificate preferred) and field service/maintenance/repair experience preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
