Job Summary

Develop new commercial loan business while underwriting, structuring, and closing loans, and maintain an existing client portfolio. Work with prospects through warm and cold calls, networking events, and relationship building to achieve annual growth goals and monthly call targets. Gather and analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness, prepare loan memos and documentation, coordinate timely closing/funding, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop new business and manage the underwriting, structuring, and closing of commercial loans.
•Maintain and service an existing commercial loan portfolio and provide ongoing relationship servicing.
•Evaluate potential clients’ needs and offer appropriate financial products, services, and loans, including cross-selling.
•Gather and analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness, and prepare loan memos and documents for approval.
•Oversee timely closing and funding of loans and coordinate with back office teams to resolve credit and delinquency issues, including compliance follow-through.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of banking or financial services experience.
•Experience working directly with customers at all levels, from support staff to business owners and managers.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience interacting with decision makers and influencers.
•Ability to prepare/coordinate and review proposals and work productively through the underwriting process.
•Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and the ability to stay organized and multi-task.
