Job Summary

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Abnormal’s cell-based deployment architecture by bootstrapping new cells, deploying the full application/infrastructure stack, and keeping cells healthy, isolated, compliant, and cost-efficient. Build and evolve cell lifecycle tooling, design scalable cell-native approaches with product teams, and operate secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. Triage complex cross-layer issues, automate provisioning, and improve reliability through an on-call learning mindset.

Key Responsibilities

•Bootstrap new cells end-to-end with full infrastructure setup and complete application stack deployment.
•Maintain and evolve cell lifecycle tooling to make provisioning repeatable, auditable, and operator-friendly.
•Design and implement scalable, cell-native architecture approaches with application and product teams.
•Design, build, test, scale, monitor, and maintain secure, cost-efficient infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment (AWS and Azure).
•Triage and resolve complex cross-layer issues and drive root-cause fixes through automation and reliability improvements via on-call.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,200 - 214,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
•4+ years engineering cloud infrastructure for production microservice systems, focusing on performance, reliability, security, and cost.
•2+ years of Python experience, including application-layer code.
•1+ year of experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
•1+ year each with AWS (VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch) and Terraform/HCL experience.
