Job Summary

Pick up and offload palletized products using a flatbed for local deliveries, with the expectation of being home every night. Key Responsibilities

•Transport block, mortar, and other materials safely to job sites and make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
•Assist and supervise truck loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution, and survey job sites for safe unloading.
•Receive dispatcher invoices/instructions, follow special instructions, and obtain shipping bills and signatures while returning completed paperwork.
•Maintain accurate records including daily truck logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation in line with state and federal regulations.
•Perform pre-trip inspections, operate tractor-trailer/vehicle in compliance with laws and safety regulations, and provide/document routine maintenance of the truck and loading/unloading equipment.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent).
•Must have a current CDL A license and at least 2 years of current CDL experience, with a clean MVR.
•Forklift certified and able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer safely and efficiently.
•Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
•Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, complete required DOT yearly physical, and frequently climb.
