Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform mechanical installation, repair, troubleshooting, replacement, and testing for plant utilities and machinery.
  • •Fabricate shop equipment using shears, drills, and welders, and install mechanical systems including hydraulic circuits.
  • •Complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • •Examine and maintain mechanical systems, recommend new equipment or improvements, and troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams and manuals.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, or technical school certification in a related field accepted in-lieu of experience.
  • •Ability to read and understand technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and prints.
  • •Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, diagrams, and test instruments with various pressures.
  • •Knowledge of maintenance tasks such as electrical preventative maintenance and repairs, lock-out/tagout, and disconnecting/removing motors and VFDs.
  • •Must be able to MIG Weld (proof of training or experience required).
