Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support configuration-driven ELT/ETL pipelines acquiring data from enterprise applications, databases, APIs, file repositories, partner sources, and shared exchanges.
  • •Build reusable ingestion and transformation patterns for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data and develop curated data products and dimensional models for reporting and analytics.
  • •Implement transformations using SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark, Databricks notebooks, dbt Cloud, and Snowpark, and contribute to modernization from legacy warehouse/ETL to lakehouse and ELT-based architectures.
  • •Monitor and optimize pipelines and data platform components for performance, scalability, availability, and cost; implement data quality controls and observability (logging, alerting) for critical flows.
  • •Lead incident triage and root-cause analysis, apply secure engineering practices (identity, role-based access, encryption, secrets management), and implement CI/CD, automated testing, and release management for data workloads.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •Typically 7+ years of enterprise data engineering experience designing, delivering, and operating production data platforms and pipelines.
  • •Strong hands-on expertise with Azure data services, Databricks, Snowflake, and dbt Cloud; experience with Azure Data Factory and Fivetran is strongly preferred.
  • •Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with practical experience with Spark/PySpark or Scala and cloud scripting/automation.
  • •Experience with lakehouse/cloud data warehouse, ELT/ETL, dimensional modeling, data quality practices, and data security/governance.
