Key Responsibilities

  • •Line manage and grow a team of AI engineers, handling objectives, one-to-ones, career progression, performance, coaching, and hiring.
  • •Own technical direction and engineering standards, including architecture, reusable patterns, code quality, testing, evaluation, peer review, CI/CD, and secure-by-default habits.
  • •Design, build, and ship production-ready agentic AI and automation solutions, including integrations that connect agents to business systems and retrieve accurate information.
  • •Own delivery end to end by planning and prioritizing the backlog, managing capacity and dependencies, and moving work from proof of concept into production.
  • •Operate and support agents and automations already live by putting operational foundations in place (monitoring, alerting, runbooks) and leading incident response when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience line managing a team of engineers, including one-to-ones, development, performance, and hiring while staying technically hands on.
  • •Track record owning technical direction and engineering standards, and improving the quality of what a team delivers.
  • •Real, demonstrable experience designing and building agentic AI solutions that have gone live and are genuinely used.
  • •Strong practical experience with LLM and agent frameworks such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
  • •Hands-on software or data engineering background (e.g., Python or C#/.NET) and experience building and integrating APIs and services, preferably deploying in Azure with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and observability.
