Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full lifecycle loop: understand the problem, define the solution, architect it, ship it, and monitor it.
  • •Build with AI-assisted development tools as a primary workflow to improve delivery quality and speed.
  • •Co-design with stakeholders and the business on decision logic, risk thresholds, and success metrics.
  • •Build evaluation harnesses before shipping, including metrics and test sets.
  • •Own production from day one with monitoring, alerting, observability, and production support.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7 years of experience as a backend engineer.
  • •Experience shipping production AI systems in the real world, including running them and fixing failures.
  • •Understanding of agentic architectures, including orchestration, multi-step workflows, and fallback/error logic.
  • •Strong evaluation instincts: define metrics, build test sets, and don’t ship until outcomes can be measured.
  • •Comfortable across the full stack (prompt, RAG pipeline, orchestrator, and backend) and across production concerns like reliability, maintainability, security, observability, latency, and cost.
