Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the product roadmap for autonomy capabilities, spanning backend services and UI-based oversight (explainability and control).
  • •Define autonomy behavior and human-machine interfaces, including decision authority, operator overrides, engagement constraints, and safety/control guardrails.
  • •Partner with engineering to sequence workstreams, surface/resolve cross-team dependencies and blockers, and hold engineering, test, and program stakeholders accountable to schedule.
  • •Communicate roadmaps, execution status, and goals to stakeholders; escalate major trade-offs and decision points as needed.
  • •Work hands-on across the product lifecycle (release, onboarding, and iterative improvements) and coordinate with engineering/test to define and monitor success metrics (autonomy performance, safety, controls behavior).

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years in software product management, ideally in highly technical areas such as autonomy systems, AI/ML products, or developer solutions.
  • •Maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of autonomy and controls concepts (state estimation, planning, closed-loop control) to reason about system behavior and limits.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical groups.
  • •A foundational understanding of back-end web technologies & distributed systems, plus demonstrated prototyping aptitude including AI code generation.
