Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the repair and maintenance of assigned equipment assets for the North business unit to reduce downtime and maximize utilization.
  • •Run daily pre-shift meetings and enforce PPE, safety procedures, and safety culture; promote 5S and implement vehicle/pedestrian segregation plans at each shop.
  • •Conduct routine inspection and certification of equipment and direct R&M services through effective scheduling and coordination.
  • •Assign tasks based on mechanic skill and repair difficulty, and use CMMS and Infield to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, time, and cost coding.
  • •Review and approve daily cost reporting and PO coding, monitor utilization and performance metrics weekly/periodically, and coordinate updates with Operations staff on down assets and repair schedules.

  • •Manage repair and maintenance for equipment assets with at least five years of related experience and/or training.
  • •Provide proactive leadership that promotes the organization’s Safety Culture and ensures strict PPE adherence.
  • •Coordinate and schedule R&M services and prioritize repairs based on asset need, cost, and repair timing.
  • •Use CMMS for work order requests and PM service needs, and use Infield to review/approve mechanic time and cost coding.
