Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial facilities, coordinating on-site installation and repairs with internal teams and customers. Diagnose and repair units using blueprints, engineering specifications, and hand tools, while enforcing safety standards and maintaining accountability of company assets. Expect occasional overtime, weekends, and some overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts.
•Use blueprints or engineering specifications and hand tools to diagnose and repair units, including use of cutting-edge software and technology.
•Maintain flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed, enforce safety standards, and record use/wear/conditions of company-issued assets.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.48 - 47.37 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or preventable collisions) within the prior 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Journey Person Mechanical License.
