Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely execute maintenance work according to prescribed standards while ensuring the safety of self and others.
  • •Keep equipment/vehicles available by inspecting and testing, performing preventive maintenance, and replacing filters and parts.
  • •Maintain vehicle functional condition by diagnosing failures and repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and body damage.
  • •Verify serviceability by conducting test drives; adjust controls and systems to meet safety and combustion control standards.
  • •Maintain shop equipment, supplies, and records; provide ongoing training and development opportunities for direct reports with a focus on Zambian employees.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade Twelve (Grade 12).
  • •Craft Certificate in HER from a recognised institution.
  • •ZAQA Certification.
  • •Class C Driver’s licence.
  • •Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar maintenance role in a mining environment, including hands-on work with ancillary equipment (Dozers & Graders).
