Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead contaminated site investigation and remediation work for legacy, abandoned, and operating mine sites.
  • •Develop conceptual site models and interpret chemical, geological, hydrogeological, and statistical data to guide remediation decisions.
  • •Deliver contaminated material management plans, remediation plans, technical specifications/design inputs, and project reports and presentations.
  • •Manage day-to-day project delivery with technical leads and client teams, aligning scope, quality, schedule, budget, and objectives.
  • •Collaborate on targeted field programs in northern/remote environments and embed health, safety, and quality controls throughout the work; mentor early-career professionals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 104,100 - 138,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Progressive experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation, with substantial exposure to mine sites and complex environmental projects.
  • •Professional registration (or eligibility) as a Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, or another applicable regulatory body.
  • •Project management experience for contaminant characterization, remediation design, mine remediation, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • •Strong knowledge of environmental chemistry, geology, contaminant fate and transport, conceptual site model development, and remediation planning.
