Job Summary

Provide Property Risk Engineering expertise to support Allianz Commercial underwriting by performing both field engineering site surveys and account-level desktop risk reviews. Support loss control and account servicing for assigned clients, producing technical reports and recommendations, and partnering with underwriting, brokers, clients, and claims. Use data analysis, modeling, and AI to solve risk engineering problems, while maintaining technical knowledge of hazards, controls, and relevant standards. Manage client-facing relationships and coordinate activities across teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently support large corporate clients by completing on-site field engineering survey assessments and plan reviews for underwriting and insureds.
•Perform account-level desk top reviews and risk assessments to support underwriting efforts, providing guidance from both location-level and program-wide perspectives.
•Survey client operations to obtain data, identify hazards, and generate risk engineering reports, recommendations, and loss control solutions.
•Produce account engineering and prospect desktop work products, ensuring quality and adherence to Account Service Instructions/Global SOP and reporting deadlines.
•Coordinate and monitor loss control activity for assigned accounts, maintain client-facing stakeholder relationships, and collaborate with underwriting and claims as needed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of loss prevention engineering experience in an HPR-type insurance environment relevant to Property.
•Strong technical knowledge of property risks, related hazards, and protection/controls across business sectors and occupancies.
•Experience managing/coordinating large global corporate property accounts across multiple occupancy sectors.
•Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Fire Protection, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical).
•Good knowledge of MS365, AI tools, data analytics and visualization techniques, and NATCAT modeling principles.
