Provide on-site infrastructure support for enterprise Linux environments, ensuring systems are configured, installed, tested, and operational. Diagnose complex Linux issues by analyzing logs and using debugging tools, implement and maintain Linux services, and apply security measures and patches. Monitor performance, optimize CPU/memory/disk resources, automate workflows with scripts, and coordinate incident handling, escalation, and vendor support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure assigned client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational, including monitoring and responding to alerts.
•Investigate and resolve complex Linux-related incidents by analyzing logs and identifying root causes; document and escalate issues as needed.
•Manage Linux systems and configure/maintain Linux services such as SSH, DNS, and DHCP across multiple environments.
•Optimize performance by monitoring CPU/memory/disk usage and applying tuning parameters to improve system efficiency.
•Develop automation scripts, coach L2 teams for advanced troubleshooting, and support disaster recovery functions and tests.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of Linux administration experience for enterprise clients.
•Strong troubleshooting skills for complex Linux issues, including analyzing syslogs/kernel logs to identify root causes.
•Experience managing Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) across dev and production environments.
•Knowledge of Linux security and compliance, including implementing patches/updates and configuring access controls and firewalls.
•Seasoned experience with ITIL processes and working with vendors/third parties.
