Key Responsibilities

  • •Own cross-functional delivery of domain data products, analytics experiences, and Golden KPIs, and set the operating model to deliver to business users via embedded data/AI engineers.
  • •Standardize and scale how data products are built by defining publishing standards, headless data product criteria, and golden paths for intake, build, certification, and support.
  • •Build an AI-native engineering competency using agentic SDLC, AI-assisted development, AI-driven testing/validation, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • •Raise the data product quality bar with CI/CD for pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, automated drift detection, and agentic data quality with recovery processes.
  • •Enable certified discovery and self-service for humans and AI systems by managing contribution/discovery models, embedding data contracts and access policies, and representing engineering to business stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in data engineering and 5+ years leading data or analytics engineering teams at Director level.
  • •Hands-on depth writing and reviewing Python and SQL, critiquing dbt models, and debugging pipeline failures.
  • •Shipped production data products with measurable adoption and the ability to describe impact.
  • •Experience delivering in regulated healthcare/life sciences environments with PHI and HIPAA compliance.
