Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the full range of personal financial counseling services to service members and families at assigned military installations.
  • •Provide one-on-one counseling, consultation with commanders/providers, and conduct briefings and presentations.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials and assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Work with installation and military branch POCs, participate in supervision and in-services/training, and manage duty-to-warn situations.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years' experience or high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process if required by the contract.
  • •Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
