Job Summary

Join the Standard Missile 3 IIA program as a Material Program Manager, serving as the liaison between Supply Chain and Program Management. You will drive material forecasts, budgets, and purchase requisitions/orders while managing risks and opportunities through the RLPM gate process. Work in a matrixed environment to align material strategies with evolving program requirements, monitor performance metrics, and support material readiness from front-end business execution through integration to production.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement strategy, including RFPs, risk/opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
•Own material forecast and identify risks and opportunities.
•Manage material budgets and support EACs.
•Drive purchase requisition generation and purchase order placement/management.
•Monitor performance metrics, implement KPIs with internal teams and suppliers, and proactively address program and functional issues.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain role.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
•U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
•Experience supporting developmental engineering programs or working with suppliers and supporting project management is preferred.
