Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure mechanical work is completed safely and meets maintenance standards.
  • •Coordinate preventative maintenance planning and day-to-day troubleshooting with operations and contractors to keep the plant running stably.
  • •Review mechanical specification sheets and engineering drawings; assist maintenance engineers with mechanical parts of engineering documents.
  • •Oversee mechanical maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and lead problem-solving with recommendations for improvements.
  • •Use SAP to schedule and track work orders; develop/update standard work orders and maintain maintenance records. With contractors, supervise the main contractor team daily and audit contractor performance.

Key Requirements

  • •At least three years of experience managing rotating equipment in a chemical plant.
  • •Practical knowledge of chemical plant maintenance practices and mechanical codes.
  • •Proficient face-to-face communications at senior and operator levels.
  • •Practical knowledge of chemical plant maintenance, preferably in a high-volume continuous environment.
  • •College diploma or above with basic English proficiency.
