Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement the end-to-end market surveillance architecture, including policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • •Own surveillance coverage across Spot, Futures, Options, Copy Trading, and Institutional/OTC products, including manipulation detection and whale-concentration risk mitigation.
  • •Define alert thresholds, escalation protocols, and enforcement actions such as warnings, restrictions, and liquidation safeguards.
  • •Develop and refine quantitative detection models and rule engines, using data analytics and machine learning to improve precision and reduce false positives.
  • •Recruit, develop, and performance-manage the surveillance team and drive standardization, automation, and AI-assisted operations, collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • •3+ years of market surveillance and/or trading risk control experience at a top-tier centralized exchange or equivalent financial institution.
  • •Deep understanding of CEX product mechanics and the risk scenarios that lead to customer disputes or financial losses.
  • •Strong knowledge of market manipulation typologies and detection methodologies, with ability to articulate a personal surveillance philosophy.
  • •Hands-on capability in strategy/rule development and data analysis using SQL, Python, or similar.
