Key Responsibilities

  • ā€¢Define an exceptionally high standard for craft and taste, and translate it into principles and examples that influence OpenAI products and model training/evaluation.
  • ā€¢Own and evolve GenUI foundations, including typography, sizing, spacing, layout, motion, accessibility, and responsive behavior.
  • ā€¢Establish a shared source of truth across platforms by improving layout and rendering systems connecting tokens, components, patterns, widgets, and app-like experiences.
  • ā€¢Build a comprehensive GenUI design framework with clear guidance on when and how models and product teams use interface patterns.
  • ā€¢Translate design judgment into high-quality training material; use prototyping and evaluation workflows to test generated interfaces, identify issues, and improve model behavior.
