Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, wind, insulate, and pack Main, PT, and/or Reactor coils using computer-controlled coil winding equipment.
  • •Interpret winding specifications, identify part numbers/quantities from work orders, input setup data, and adjust machines to match window, load strip, conductor, and insulation requirements.
  • •Run coils per the run screen instructions, label coils with required identifiers, and perform measurements and alignment verification.
  • •Conduct ratio testing, perform rework on damaged/defective coils to meet quality standards, and weigh/log scrap metal in the database with proper disposal protocols.
  • •Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO), follow safety and housekeeping/5S practices, and safely operate overhead cranes and hoisting equipment as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •No relocation benefit; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility (Active-Duty Military exempt).

  • •Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to interpret coil specifications from computerized winding sheets/prints and follow written/verbal work instructions accurately.
  • •Lift up to 40 lbs and use required PPE; work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.
