Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Rolling Stock Team Leader with preventive and corrective maintenance and minor modifications for rolling stock and maintenance vehicles.
  • •Perform routine inspections, surface defect checks, consumable replacements, minor repairs, and technical cleaning.
  • •Test electromechanical assemblies, replace/install electrical and electronic parts, and align/fit/assemble components using electronics and hand/power tools.
  • •Conduct fault diagnostics and component replacement (repair in situ or inside depot), following maintenance procedures and instructions.
  • •Maintain accurate maintenance records using a computerized maintenance management system and implement Permit To Work and emergency/shift duties as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocational trade certificate or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand rolling stock inner workings.
  • •Ability to use and calibrate electrical, electronic, and mechanical test equipment for rolling stock maintenance.
  • •Good eyesight and normal colour vision.
  • •Preferably holds a valid UAE driving license with good driving experience.
