Job Summary

Manage and coordinate plant manufacturing operations to achieve cost, profit, and productivity goals. Develop production schedules, coordinate with other areas, and forecast inventory needs. Supervise operations directly or through supervisors and lead operators, ensuring proper training, performance reviews, and operational efficiency and quality standards. Monitor expenses, yields, scrap, and inventory rotation, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and coordinate plant manufacturing operations or multiple department operations to meet cost, profit, and productivity objectives.
•Develop production schedules and coordinate across areas while forecasting inventory requirements.
•Supervise operations directly or through supervisors and lead operators; coach and develop subordinates and initiate corrective actions.
•Establish and monitor work center efficiency, quality standards, output, yields, and scrap; drive corrective actions as needed.
•Ensure safety and compliance through participation in the Safety Committee and alignment with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Requirements

•Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
•Minimum of two years of experience as a production supervisor or equivalent.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines.
