Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial services and full-scope personal financial counseling to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Deliver one-on-one counseling and consultations, and conduct briefings/presentations or provide referrals outside counseling sessions.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials and coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across military life events.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences and respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
  • •Work with installation and military branch points of contact to ensure the program stays within scope and meets installation needs, including supervision, training, quality improvement, and duty-to-warn management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree with 4 years’ experience or high school diploma with 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
  • •Must have an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) certification.
