Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers for platform and new product development.
  • •Serve as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs; prepare, issue, and analyze RFx packages and ensure commercial terms are documented.
  • •Create should-cost models, manage costs to meet budgets/forecasts, and execute cost-saving programs with suppliers.
  • •Ensure suppliers are prepared for prototype builds through ramp-up and mass production; survey supplier capabilities for equipment and capacity.
  • •Drive end-to-end supply chain ownership (vendor selection, capacity, contract negotiation, procurement, delivery tracking, budget planning, and cross-functional communication) and ensure compliance with government and commercial contracts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management; or 7+ years in one or more of those areas.
  • •Experience in material cost control and/or master production scheduling.
  • •6+ years of experience in procurement, manufacturing, or related supply chain disciplines.
  • •Experience managing outsourcing contract manufacturing partners and taking ownership of NPI sourcing strategy development and execution.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and written/verbal/presentation communication skills.
