Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing process and equipment issues and perform timely maintenance and repairs.
  • •Identify and implement system improvements that contribute to throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
  • •Execute planned process experiments and collect/analyze/report experimental and tool performance data.
  • •Provide on-site service and repair, training/upskilling for production associates, and maintain internal documentation (drawings, SOPs, process specifications).

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Must meet at least one: Associates degree in a technical discipline, two or more years machine/mechanic experience, one year First Solar technical experience, or six months First Solar Associate EMT experience with rating of "5" or higher.
  • •Verifiable electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge with hands-on troubleshooting/repair experience.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment and process issues on the manufacturing line.
  • •Working knowledge of common Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and good written/oral communication skills.
